Daniel Boone of Kentucky Steven Y. Caudill of Winchester, Kentucky is an 18th Century re-enactor who portrays Daniel Boone so well that watching him can leave one wondering if he isn't the modern-day embodyment of Boone himself! His sincere passion for his state's magnificent history and his admiration for Daniel Boone is sincere and unmistakable - it is, I feel, what makes his work so special. He may be as close as we in the 21st century can come to watching the original Daniel Boone in action.

The House of Boone A very well put-together site featuring the genealogical lines of Edward Boone, brother of Daniel Boone, by one of Edward's direct descendants.

The Daniel Boone and Frontier Families Research Association formed by Ken Kamper, a Missourian whom I consider the foremost living authority on the life of Daniel Boone.

The St. Charles County Historical Society A wonderful resource for researchers in historic St. Charles County, Missouri. Daniel Boone's area of residence (including present Warren County) was located in St. Charles County at that time. The folks at SCCHS do a fabulous job of collecting and preserving the history of the area.

Longhunter Camp & Camp Knox, Ky Bill Clark has posted some very interesting pictures of the camp location where Daniel Boone was found lieing on the ground singing while living in the wilderness of Ky alone. Shows the names of some of the early longhunters.

Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Best known as the site of the last battle of the Revolutionary War in Kentucky. It was here that Daniel's son, Israel Boone was killed.

The Original Martin's Station On The Wilderness Road The well known stopover and rest station on the trek through Cumberland Gap along Boone's Trace. The station takes its name from Joseph Martin, who was born about 1740 in Albemarle County, Virginia.

Callaway Co., Missouri Journal An excellent website for resources in Callaway and Montgomery Counties. Betty Brooks has done a wonderful job with the cemetery pages and much much more.

The Boone Society, An association of descendants, genealogists and historians whose goal is to identify and preserve Boone-related documents and artifacts. The Society helps researchers identify relevant reference material or establish family links, as the case may be, while sifting fact from fancy.

The Boone - Duden Historical Society, Occupying a restored 1871 house at New Melle, Missouri, (in the Boone historical area), the society collects and receives, records, studies, exhibits, preserves and shares all things pertaining to the history of the area. They have lots of good history and genealogical publications which you can buy. This site also has articles on Susannah (Boone) Hays and the Howells.

Boone Station Historical Site, Daniel Boone established this stockaded station or homestead in 1779. According to the historical marker, several family members were buried here. One of them is Samuel Boone, Daniel's eldest brother.

The Adventures of Colonel Daniel Boone" by John Filson Often called 'Daniel Boone's biography in his own words,' however, it is clearly Filson's words and not those of Daniel Boone, even though Filson probably collaborated with Boone during the writing.

Daniel Boone's Missouri Home; The Nathan Boone Home, a great friend of the Boone Home and Lindenwood University has put together this very informative and interesting website.

The Nathan Boone Homestead, The log home that Nathan moved to in 1837. Located near Springfield, Missouri. It is currently undergoing restoration. They don't have much online yet.
